So my first afternoon of work! AND IT RAINED, bummer, I know but I don’t mind.  It really is fascinating the extreme weather difference between the morning and the afternoon.  it the morning its hot, no clouds all sun, and then all of a sudden at 1:00 exactly clouds roll in and it begins to rain.  

So today I went and worked on the farm with Monica and Liz, but because it was raining there wasn’t much to do.  Ezras and Luis, the two guys we work with, weren’t doing much either because there were no peas or beans to shell, which I guess is what they normally do when it rains, if it’s not rainy, they pull weeds but at the time they were studying matematicas, because there were no peas to shell.  Then Liz and Scott came and Liz and I went over to help Elder with the rebarb.  

He cuts the rebarb and makes these structures to help support walls and stuff so that during a mud slide, they are more sturdy.  So there was another group working with us, the Miami group who just recently got here, and while they built structures Liz and I cut thin wire.  I was really excited because it got my hands dirty and rusty.  I also ended up cutting myself which I didn’t notice until I got back to the house.
